“Bessie and Leona”

“Bessie and Leona” has been completed for the New Lutheran Ritz Villa Nursing Home in Mitchell ON.
What a pleasure it has been designing a piece that will be so uplifting and meaningful to the residents there!

Design aspects:

From the inception of this idea, I knew that the small black and white focal area needed to be established. After many value studies, I decided on this plan. The shapes vary, colours harmonize throughout and the viewer’s eye leads in many ways to our main focal point, the cows!

This original Acrylic Painting measures 30” X 48” and is painted on a 2” Gallery wrapped canvas.
